ABOUT:
The just transition working group was formed to give life to the campaign's fifth demand: leave no one behind. Together, we're guiding the province to protect vulnerable people from climate disasters, ensure First Nations find opportunities in renewable energy and support workers and communities who currently rely on fossil fuel extraction.

Just Transition Working Group Publishes Briefing Note
The just transition working group released a briefing note and policy backgrounder to offer concrete policy proposals for the Campaign’s fifth demand of the provincial government: leave no one behind.
This document was a joint effort by the Climate Emergency Unit, Wilderness Committee, Union of BC Indian Chiefs, Poverty Reduction Coalition and Worker Solidarity Network.
